Organizational byline
Articles are published by the Probably The Dog Editorial Desk. This is an organizational byline, not a claim that a veterinarian or certified trainer personally reviewed every page. When a qualified professional is directly involved in a future piece, that contribution should be named specifically.
Source standard
Health, safety, emergency, and behavior claims prioritize veterinary organizations, public-health agencies, veterinary hospitals, and established animal-behavior guidance. Sources are linked on the relevant page. A source link supports the article; it does not mean the source organization endorses this site.
Medical boundary
The site provides education, not diagnosis or treatment. Red-flag symptoms and sudden changes are directed to a veterinarian. The site does not publish medication doses, replace prescribed instructions, or tell readers to delay urgent care.
Training standard
Training guidance favors reward-based methods, practical management, gradual difficulty, and attention to fear, pain, and safety. It does not recommend intimidation, deliberate pain, or forcing a dog through panic.
Product-link standard
Affiliate cards describe a useful product category, why it relates to the guide, and a safety or fit issue to check. Most Amazon buttons open a current comparison search. They are not represented as hands-on reviews of one exact model unless the page explicitly says an item was personally evaluated.
Commercial independence
Probably The Dog may earn from qualifying Amazon purchases and sells its own digital products. Editorial explanations are written independently of whether a reader buys. Affiliate relationships are disclosed near product links and on the disclosure page.
Updates and corrections
