Probably The Dog does not offer reader accounts or comments. Newsletter signup is optional and can be ended at any time.
Email subscriptions
If you choose to subscribe, the email address and signup information you provide are processed by Zoho Campaigns so Probably The Dog can send requested updates, useful dog-care resources, product news, and occasional offers. Zoho Campaigns may also record delivery and engagement information needed to operate and improve those emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Probably The Dog does not sell subscriber email addresses.
Site analytics
Probably The Dog uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is found and used. Analytics may record pages viewed, referrals, approximate location, device and browser information, scrolling, downloads, searches, filters, and outbound-link interactions such as clicks to Amazon or Payhip. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to provide this service. We use these reports to improve articles, navigation, and product recommendations; we do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or sensitive personal information to Google Analytics. Basic technical information
The hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. This site does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information.
External purchases, affiliate links, email, and video
Links to Amazon, Payhip, and other sources take you to third-party websites with their own privacy practices. Amazon may use cookies or similar technology to attribute qualifying purchases to this site. Payhip handles checkout and digital delivery for Probably The Dog products under Payhip’s own privacy and payment practices. Zoho Campaigns handles newsletter forms and email delivery under its own privacy practices. Embedded videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain and load only on pages where a relevant video appears; YouTube may still receive technical information when the video player loads or is used.
